Patient Communication Guidelines

Emergency & Urgent Care Notice

For emergencies or urgent symptoms, please call 911, visit an ER/urgent care, or contact your primary care physician. We do not provide urgent care services or after-hours answering service.

Texting Guidelines

Appropriate for:

  • Appointment confirmations
  • Cancellations
  • Late arrival notifications (include ETA)
  • Simple yes/no questions (non-medical)

When to Call

  • Scheduling or rescheduling appointments
  • Reporting symptoms or side effects
  • Questions about care plans/results
  • Portal assistance
  • In-house dispensary refills

Patient Portal Information

Access your:

  • Scheduled appointments
  • Lab results (after provider review)
  • Medication lists and instructions
  • Supplement information
  • Visit summaries and care plans

Medication Refill Protocol

  • Submit requests via pharmacy eRx system
  • Allow 5 business days for processing
  • Annual visit required for medication renewals
  • TLC providers only refill medications they prescribe
