Question

“Would EDTA chelation help slow the progression of ALS? What else might be helpful? Thank you, Dr. E.”  [0:02:57]

Answer

The answer is yes. Well, the entire protocol but there's a lot of excitement in the study of nicotine and Parkinson's, ALS, and other brain disorders. We are seeing the dendritic cells of the brain. These dendrites are really immune cells of the brain. And we have nicotinic receptors all over our bodies, so nicotine, per se, is not a toxin, although it has a bad rap for being in the cigarettes and the cigarette history of disease with the chronic tars that come from smoking cigarettes. But nicotine itself has physiologic nicotinic receptors in our body, and it seems to have some research now emerging on nicotine. For instance, during the COVID pandemic, the people who were smokers still really had very little trouble, and the reason is that nicotine was understood to be occupying the ACE receptors that apparently the viral spike proteins were trying to attach to, and so, smokers have far less troubles during that time. Just as an aside, I'm not recommending anyone should smoke. But there is some research, you can Google. I wouldn't Google it. I would go to Bing.com or DuckDuckGo and put in the words ‘ALS and nicotine for remission’. And you could put in ‘astrocytomas’, ‘glioblastomas’, you know, brain tumors, and ‘nicotine and remission,’ and you'll see quite a bit of emerging research on this.

Now, EDTA chelation will improve the microcirculation, the low carb diet, the more carnivore-like diet because the brain is largely fat and it's made up of the membrane, double layer like a sandwich, of the phospholipids making it up, and the little balls are the receptors. And life is all about us getting these little heavy metal chemicals damaging the cell membrane, and then it messes up the function of the body, and this is what I'm published in heavily. And that's why we use phospholipid powders, and we use meat, fish, chicken, turkey, beef, eggs, all the things that the corrupt NIH/FDA leadership has shunned and is trying to turn us away from, but that's what we need to repair ourselves because we're made of fat and protein. That's the direction I would go. Plus, if you do the chelation with a more carnivore-like diet, the chelation that we give is enhanced, we do it with vitamin C, which boosts the immune system, adequate water, and Systemic Enzymes, all these things will help it.

And we've had quite a few ALS patients, and the prognosis is very poor, and this progressive neurological damage leads to a slow death, and loss of nerve function. And very often, about two years after diagnosis, is my experience over these past 43 years, most succumb. But our patients have lasted 10 years or better and had a much better quality of life. So, that might be a help to you.

Question

“Do you have any thoughts on biocidin supplements for candida and mold?”  [0:07:17]

Answer

Mold, the first thing you have to do is stop your exposure. And so, if you have a water-damaged home or environment, or work environment, you have to get that rectified because you could be chasing your tail if you don't address that. So, you need to work with a person who's familiar with mold management. We do it and we certainly insist on the mold remediation treatment of the home or environment. But the low-carb diet, the antifungal herbals are helpful, grapeseed extract and certain herbs tend to be beneficial, plus a baseline healthy diet. Remember, you always have to bring into every plan, this is why I'm so repetitious, you have to repair the damage, and this damage is made up of a double layer of these phospholipids in the protein receptors to get it to the healthier level. And so, your diet needs to be more carnivore-like, very low carb, and you have to have good circulation. EDTA would be a very smart part of it.

Question

“Dr. E., how would you treat Epstein-Barr? (I am your patient…my sister just got diagnosed with EPV). She wonders if it was caused by the jab.”  [0:08:48]

Answer

Well, the immune insult of the jab may have allowed the general immune system to come drop so that we're always being exposed to cytomegaloviruses, Epstein-Barr viruses, rotaviruses, and adenoviruses. Various viruses to be alive is to be in a sea of viral/bacterial allergic stimuli that we're inhaling all the time. But God has greatly made us and made us able to resist most of this. But if you're eating the standard American diet and inactive, mostly sedentary, not drinking enough water, staying up late, using all kinds of electronics and blue light, is not filtering things, then you're going to have a lower immune system and that will harm you, and make you succumb to these things. And that's what we're seeing more and more.

So, if you go on a reversal lifestyle of all the things we always teach here, do, again, the high-dose vitamin C. I always think you get better, deeper microcirculation and penetration. vitamin C is a powerful and non-toxic antiviral, and that's what we use for all our Epstein-Barr viruses, along with a low-carb diet, and enzymes, minerals, and the antioxidants that are in the Juice Plus series are the most researched for protection. So, that's what I would do.

Question

“Also best ways to treat candida? I've had it since 18, now 40. Never been able to completely eradicate it. I do have high levels of mercury and aluminum that I'm currently treating with EDTA suppositories.”  [0:10:43]

Answer

Well, I hope the suppository is a reputable company. I hope that it's under the supervision of a prescribing doctor because EDTA is only prescribed by a physician. It shouldn't be available over the counter. So, I think there's a lot of area for fraud in these areas. But again, who’s telling you you have candida? I would suspect that you have candida if your fasting blood sugar is above 90 if your triglyceride levels are above 150, if your hemoglobin A1c is above 5.7, if your insulin fasting is above 5, then I would suspect that you're eating a high carb standard American diet. If those are not your numbers, then it's not as likely for you to be said to have candida.

Candida is going to always be with us just like any other fungus. If we do a stool sample, we'll see a few buddings. It's whether or not it has become significant and systemic. So, I would want you to see a doctor who is defining based on what independent evidence is he making that diagnosis, and then you can address it. If you do a complete digestive stool analysis, you can get sensitivities for what will reduce the yeast. Of course, the low-carb diet, more carnivore-like diet, not eating late, exercise, water, and then grapeseed extract is a very powerful natural anti-candida.

Question

“How do you treat tinnitus?”  [0:12:58]

Answer

People with tinnitus usually reflect age-related changes in the nerves that feed their hearing. These delicate nerves become injured. You have to realize this damage point right here is really related to any cell, any part of your body. So, you have to understand the poorer your diet and lifestyle, lack of water, lack of sleep, increased stress, being on multiple medications, not eating a healthy, rich, phospholipid-rich protein diet, every part of your body and the nerves, all that you're constructed of, is being damaged, and you have to repair it at night. That's why you should take care of bedtime. You should take care of your environment and what you're eating, so that these little damage sites don't occur. That is why the same therapy treats all diseases, and lifestyle issues treat all diseases because every cell of your body is composed of this protein and fat sandwich that makes up your body, and if you injure it, you have to repair it at night. If you don't eat the stuff, you won't repair it, and this will build up. The more it builds up, the ringing in your ears will occur, or floaters will start in your eyes, or the back part of your eye retina becomes damaged and you get macular degeneration, or you start getting clogged little capillaries to your brain and you get memory issues and strokes and so forth.

So, that's why everything sounds so repetitious. But you see, the problem here is, will you do it? Will you drink the water half your weight in ounces every day? Will you exercise? Now, today I'm in my work clothes, but I will be changing into my workout clothes, and I will go and do my heavy lifting and doing my walking/cardio. Will you test your blood sugar insulin, triglyceride, hemoglobin A1C every six months? Will you not eat late at night and not fudge on that? And I'm seriously saying nothing past 6 o'clock. Will you take Systemic Enzymes because our little Pac-Man enzymes that help clean up the clogs that are in the arteries, these little Pac-Man help chew up the enzymes, and dissolve these little tiny proteinaceous clots? Will you bring your lifestyle into control? And this is the dilemma of life. We are looking for pleasure. The pleasure of sin for a season is noted in the Bible. And so, obviously, a lot of people fight with the flesh. You know, Jesus said at the Garden of Gethsemane before he was crucified for us, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

So, the doctor that doesn't take time to lovingly place the responsibility back on you and say, you must be the adult that's trying to take care of your body. You must set aside whether a government nanny care system pays for insurance for chelation or a vitamin or a treatment. You have to pay for this yourself if you want to take care. And so, we are here trying to inspire each dear soul that comes in and motivate them and let them know how valuable they are to God so much that he would die for any one of us, and has already, and paid for our sins. If you can, as a health care provider, inspire your patients and tell them most of the healing is going out with you for no price out that door if you'll drink the water, do the weight lifting, do the walking, shut the electronics off, get that water in, eat more of the meat, fish, chicken, turkey, beef, and cut those carbs, take a few tailored supplements and certainly enzymes with aging, both for digestion and systemically, various things like that, since the food system is so raped, like orange today is probably you would have to eat today maybe five or six oranges to get the number of nutrients that one orange 60, 70 years ago in the 1950s, the nutrient density would have had, the same for an apple and on and on it goes. So, we are eating on turning over our lives to industrialized, marketed farming systems and transport systems and vegetables and fruits that are harvested before they're ripe, and then they're gassed, and they're sometimes many several weeks old by the time they hit the market, and they have waxed on them, and we are allowing this. Why? Because we will not take responsibility, go to the local farmers, go to the farmer's market, and build their economy up and say, we value our local farmers, we value our local carpenter, we value our local mechanic, we value our local plumber, we value our local gardeners, and build your own community, and that goes for building up yourself and your family.

So, yes, much of this is repetitious. But God made us to be social and to care for our brothers. And so, we meet every week, and this is our expression at Tender Loving Care Tustin Longevity Center, that we care for you and we would take the extra time to do this for free to inspire you and to help you perceive how valuable you are. I see so many people in their 70s and late 60s and older, and they feel they're done with, and they feel that they're overwhelmed with disease starting to take over them. And I say, it's amazing how the body can heal. In seven years, you will not be the same physical tissue you are right now, your bones nerves, and brain will take longer, but we're always repairing and changing. And so, you may have chronic back pain, and unless it's something exceptional or serious, most people can exercise themself out of and lose weight for back pain control, and that's just one of multiple examples. And I keep on telling the older patients, you're here and your wisdom, you've gained almost three-quarters of a century of knowledge and experience, and you're old enough now to it not be so much about your first date or your wedding day or your first intimate exposure or your first paycheck or your first car or your first boat trip. Now, you're old enough to look beyond yourself much more easily and say, what about the next generation? What are they going to see?

And so, I'm always trying to say, you heal also by helping others. Seeing your great value, seeing how important your behavior is in the vision of others around you and your family and your associates and work, they see you, they read you, we're reading each other, and don't be ashamed of it. And for me, I have a biblical worldview and I keep on praising the Lord, and it's my strength, it's my energy. It is literally the Word of God that is life to all my flesh. And so, I'm not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It's the power of God unto salvation to everyone, to the Jew first, and also the Greek, it says, in Romans 1.

So, I am motivated and that helps my mental attitude, it helps my immune system, it helps me therefore to sip my water, and It helps me, therefore, to get up and move my body and my butt into the gym. I don't want to do it. I don't want to drink that water. I don't want to take that little tiny handful of vitamins. But I tell you, I am so thankful for the energy and the well-being of my body and the inspiration that all this gives me in sharing with other dear souls. There is no one that is not worthy of investing in or being a neighbor to. How did I get into that? I don't know, but maybe that was for someone out there.

So, with tinnitus, one of the things is I honestly think EDTA chelation will help with microcirculation into that nerve area to deliver the phospholipids to repair that myelin sheath that goes over the nerve. It will remove metal toxins so that if it's electromagnetic energy, you're less of an antenna. Things like this.

Question

“How can you treat lichen sclerosis?”  [0:23:10]

Answer

That is in women. Are you talking probably about the vaginal lichen sclerosus in that region? I would want you to see what your hormone levels are. We could use vaginal natural bioidentical hormones, and then, of course, all the same health measurements and statements as well, you know, low-carb enzymes. And I would stay away from tampons or douching or bath with all these chemicals from these soaps and stuff and perfumes. And I would use Argentyn Silver, that spray. That's a broad spectrum, antibacterial, antifungal, and you can spray yourself in that area there as well. And the same would be for the sclerotic lichen planus which is where you bite your teeth and you see that line inside your mouth, that kind of good hygiene and life. Hopefully, that would help you.

Question

“I use the one you recommend and wrote a book on it (Detoxamin). I had an organic acids test with high arabinose (I believe). I can't wait to go to heaven. So sick of this sad sickened world.”  [0:24:35]

Answer

Well, I don’t know who owns the Detoxamin brand name anymore. So, I don’t know what to say about that. I hope it’s good. And I want everyone to understand these dear people matter. So, it's like being on active duty. We just celebrated D-Day the invasion of the beaches. My father was on D-Day in one of those boats landing up there and saw just horrible things. And we're here for a reason. We're here at the right time. There's never been a you or me before. Our DNA is unique. And I am living…you know, when Jesus was walking around, he said, the kingdom of God is here amongst you, the kingdom of God. And John the Baptist heralded by saying the kingdom of God is near. Repent. Turn away from your foolish religious behaviors and turn to the true thing. Remember, Jesus said you tithe your spice and anise, but you've forgotten the weightier things of justice and mercy. And so, the Kingdom of God is I'm under the lordship, my king is Jesus Christ, and I'm on active duty every day for him, and I'm here right now, and I am going to work his kingdom every day of my life, everywhere I'm at. I live the worldview, I talk the worldview, I practice medicine by the worldview of my biblical worldview, and I love and dig into whatever I can to help my patients medically because I'm in the kingdom on active duty every day. So, I actually like where I'm at right now. Now, I want to be a part of influencing my little sphere and taking responsibility for it, for delivering it up to the King, my Lord, and savior, Jesus Christ, and say, see Father, this is what I did with the talent that you gave me, and I've made this little area of your world better.

And you have to remember when he spoke of the Kingdom of God as like, he always compared it with earthly things. It's like the Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed, the tiniest of seeds grows into this big tree or the Kingdom of God is like a pearl of great value in a field and a man sold everything he could to get it. So, it was earthly things. The kingdom of God was like a field where the good master planted the plants but then tears showed up, and these are all earthly examples. So, yeah, I believe we'll go to heaven when we die, to be absent for the body is present with God. But I think the kingdom of heaven is right now. God's government is right now. So, I'm not worried about – I am healthfully and dutifully responsible to take action where I can to route out the thievery of communism or totalitarianism, the Fabian socialism, all these kinds of things, and to identify it and help younger people understand the true definitions and what just economics. That's why God said in his Bible use just weights and measures. So, we had a good economy.

But medicine is all messed up because of insurance, third-party payers, and big conglomerates. They want to turn it into artificial intelligence management where you will have a faceless doctor. You just poke in little symptoms. We have to stand against this, and I'm doing everything we can. Like, for instance, today, we had our clinical meeting with my doctors and the whole staff, and unfortunately, whereas a week ago, I was happy because, at the general assembly of the World Health Organization meeting in Geneva about a week and a half ago, we had voted down the international health regulations and the pandemic treaty. And then in the midnight hour on the last day, Tedros called together a private clique of people of the chairman heads, and they voted it all in and they didn't even follow their own rules. So, if you're, you're an evil doer, you don't follow rules, just like a gun control is not going to stop a criminal from getting a gun because they're criminals.

So, the kingdom of God is such that we need to see it does matter what we're doing right now, how I treat my husband, how I treat my sons, how I treat my daughter-in-law and my grandchildren and my sister and my nieces and nephews, my patients, the register lady at Sprouts who checks me out. It's important that I'm constantly beaming out, I'm under the King, I'm domiciled in America, and I will obey the laws of my constitutional republic, but I am standing for my King. And so, the Kingdom of God is now here with me everywhere I go. And I'm going to try and do that to help medicine. Remember, Benjamin Rush was one of the signers, and a physician of the Declaration of Independence, and he also wanted an 11th bill of rights, which would give healthcare practice a God-given, God-anointed domain. We get the right to practice medicine from God, not from some licensing board that will have the monopoly that we have right now.

So, I'm working, I'm doing what I can at the clinic meeting. Therefore, today, I brought up the secret midnight stealing of our healthcare freedom to a world globalist organization that can operate a control through all the governments, producing recommendations for vaccinations, quarantine, taking you out of your place, and putting you in another place, health jail, we call it. And I am working to try and educate my people and my patients. So again, whatever your thoughts are, if you love world control and globalism, then call your congressmen and representatives and tell them that. But if you're against it, call (202) 224-3121 and tell them to vote against this, because Article 61 of this new International Health Regulations, Article 61, does say that your nation-state can withdraw from this in a prescribed period. I don't recall exactly what that time was, but please let your congressmen, your senators, and your people know that you don't support it.

Question

“Hi, Dr. Rita, my naturopath wants me to take Metal-X-Synergy, Mitocore, and other supplements. I started but it's making my stomach hurt, getting bloated, diarrhea. Is that normal?”  [0:32:40]

Answer

You might be in a detox phase. I know what Mitocore is and we carry it here. I don't know what Metal-X-Synergy is, and I don't know what your other supplements are, so you would have to have that brought on a visit with your doctor to discuss.

Question

“Seriously, I've been taking testosterone cream for two months and had a blood test. My testosterone is 1108 And my free T is 117. I feel a lot of energy and less depression. I think it's working.”  [0:34:04]

Answer

Hallelujah! That's just wonderful, and that's Dr. Meric working here. It's a blessing. Thank the Lord. That number again is (202) 224-3121. That'll get you the capital switch forward and then you say, please get me your Local representative for me, I think it's Porter, and/or you could say, get me Michael Johnson's (the Speaker of the House) office, and you'll wind up getting anyone you want, but you'll get their staff or you'll be put on a recording. But it doesn't matter. Respectfully and nicely leave your message, I want to tell everyone whatever that you want. I can't tell you what to do. But I say I want to get us out of the World Health Organization. We should be a sovereign nation and medical freedom is very important to me. And then if the more the staff here is, that sometimes the staff picks up with me and that we'll talk, and we're helping the staff, even maybe people you don't think would listen to you. Let's say I'm calling, I happen to be Republican, let's say I get to call a Democrat, like when Feinstein was alive, I called her office, and I sometimes can get a hold of the democrat staff there, and I'm very kind to them, I'm supposed to be if I'm a Christian, and I'm trying to explain to them what my sincere concerns are. And the more they get calls like this, they're not going to see us as screaming, yelling women or men but that we have true legitimate articulable concerns, and this is why we ask to be represented in this fashion.

Question

“Is nitric oxide necessary?”  [0:36:21]

Answer

It's absolutely necessary and is produced in all the 60,000 miles of your blood vessels. And eating a healthy meat diet is one of the richest sources of being able to do that, exercise also.

Question

“What is the best kind of magnesium and calcium?”  [0:36:38]

Answer

Amino acid chelated magnesium. And so, you would want Magnesium Citrate or Magnesium Glycinate. These are amino acid-connected and Albion is the company that does this processing, the same for calcium. Although I don't like taking supplemental calcium, per se. I like to get it in eating my meat, my fish, my chicken. It's the richest source of calcium. The most is easily integrated into your body through your digestive system. A lot of these cheap things out there are metal oxides like magnesium oxide. Horrible stuff.

Question

“Hi Dr. Ellithorpe, I think I may have parasites in my forehead and back of my head possibly from mold. What's my first course of action? Thank you and God bless.”  [0:37:28]

Answer

You have to get your blood sugars checked because typically they only hang around in a rich-carbohydrate, fruit-sugar-type diet with inflammation. So, an anti-inflammatory diet. The carnivore diet is very anti-inflammatory. Keto is very anti-inflammatory. Adequate water. Get your blood sugar, your triglycerides, your hemoglobin A1c, and your fasting insulin. A complete digestive stool analysis to look for parasites is a very reputable test, and that's the beginning point I would start.

Question

“On March 6 I had Biote pellet inserted for postmenopausal symptoms. I gained so much weight, so I stopped. Please recommend treatment for postmenopausal symptoms. I'll be 63 in August.”  [0:38:24]

Answer

You have to see the patient, know the blood type, and know the lifestyle, and dietary patterns because stress in the life of women is a high cortisol hormone-releasing lifestyle, and it makes women who, aging itself is stressed and will make people gain a little weight postmenopausal love handles. But really weight gain in people is very often another part of a failing thyroid also besides just our sex hormone production loss and the high excess cortisol produced. So, there's so much more that goes into this. Plus, it needs to be balanced with progesterone. I would have the DHEA, the precursor to cortisol, checked. I would have your testosterone levels. I would do weight training. I'd be very low-carb because insulin stimulates weight gain. So, very much more goes into it than just giving you a hormone and charging you for it.

Question

“What do you recommend for low hemoglobin, MCH, and MCHC on recent blood tests?”  [0:40:29]

Answer

If you're showing possibly an iron deficiency or a lack of iron absorption, and I would want to see you as a patient, male or female, I would want to check your iron studies, ferritin, and things like that, and go from that point.

Question

“If you have chronic kidney disease, what is the best supplement to take? I have one kidney and I’m at stage two kidney disease.”  [0:41:04]

Answer

EDTA chelation therapy, hands down. EDTA chelation therapy has been studied multiple times, published in 1999, 2003, 2006, 2007, and 2012 by nephrologists, and specialists in chronic kidney care specialists, and they have done EDTA chelation on these people very cautiously because you want to have good kidney function because you pee out toxins. But EDTA has been given to these people with chronic kidney disease and their creatinine drops, suspends, and starts to improve and comes up to about maybe 20 percent improvement. This is Dr. Cheng and Dr. Lin, and they're all published on this. Nephrologists, Dr. Lin, Dr. Cheng. I forgot the other doctor's name. I know of three nephrologists who have done this. Every single one of them saw improvement. That's what I would do.

Question

“What are the best supplements for kidney disease?”  [0:42:28]

Answer

Systemic Enzymes, a low-carb diet, taking a healthy antioxidant like Juice Plus, the most powerful antioxidant. So, once you repair, for instance, the cell, you repair it, you want to defend it from being injured again like here. You don't want it to be injured by ultraviolet radiation, heavy metals, or viruses. So you want to repair it and you want to protect it, and that's why we take antioxidants, and that's why the most research is Juice Plus, that’s what I would use. Plenty of water, of course, enzymes, and Juice. Plus, and then that I would do chelation therapy with an experienced doctor.

Question

“Would you recommend fasting for kinds as an immune system benefit?”  [0:43:18]

Answer

No, but I would recommend removing all sugars from their diet and restoring a treat to the honorable holier way. So, if it's one person's birthday, they get the cupcake or they get their favorite slice of meringue. My husband's is lemon meringue pie. I'm cheesecake, New York style, with no gooey syrup on it. And so, whoever's birthday it is, they should get the treat and the rest of us have our dinner with them, and we rejoice for them. We don't imbibe with them. And so, get the sugar out of their diet. They're growing. So, I don't recommend fasting for kids. I do say three meals – so, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. No snacking in between. But get that sugar out.

Question

“What can you tell us about Roemheld syndrome? For several years I have been dealing with chronic burping, frequent heart palpitations, acid reflux, anxiety...just to name a few. Doctors do tests and tell me I'm healthy and that it's probably just anxiety, but these problems persist. My anxiety stems from these problems! Could it be Roemheld?”  [0:44:20]

Answer

Yeah. The thing is, we go back right to this picture here. So, you're injured and you have acid burping up and it's irritating the lining of your esophagus. You have to get it healthy here. And so, if you were a patient of mine with that symptom, just based on that alone, I would give you the Phospholipids, which are the little things hanging down like that, and that's the protein immunoglobulin. And I would do that. Mix a scoop of each of those in warm water, and I would drink it in the morning before I start doing anything food-wise, and I would take it before I go to bed. You could do it 10 times a day if you want. It's food. But remember, that heals those holes. That'll fix that injured spot right there. So, those powders will fix that injured spot. Eating meat, eating fish, turkey, eggs, all these things. An apple won't do it. Lettuce won't do it. So, that will fix you.

Now, why does this happen? There is a fascial lining, the durum of our brain, there are fascial linings over our muscles. There's fascia over the lining, pleural lining over our lung, our spleen, our liver, our kidneys. We have this cellophane kind of wrapping all over to help keep things non-injured, you might say. But, the esophagus does not have, as an organ itself, that fascial lining. So, if you eat something, or alcohol or Motrin, aspirins irritating those cell membranes of the cell and irritating it, then what will happen is that the lining is right next to your beating heart. And then your heart will get that inflammation cytokine, these little droplets, you might say, these little messengers right here, these little fragments and that'll kind of get right near the heart lining, which has its pericardium, which is the fascial lining of that, and it'll irritate it because that's the job of the cytokines, is to bring your attention to what's going on. So, don't eat past 5 o'clock. Don't lay down after eating. Use the phospholipid powder in warm water like you're making a baby bottle, and add the scoop of the SBI Protect. These are the two things that I would use. And you will see within the week these symptoms going away. Absolutely. Absolutely. And eat more fish, turkey, chicken, beef and eggs.

Question

“When you go for 24-hour fasting, do you get chills?”  [0:47:52]

Answer

You know, I fast so often, and I do a 24-hour every week, and I've been doing this for decades, I don't remember anymore. But I can see why, because when you fast, you're cleaning away debris, you're getting some autophagy starting. And when you start cleaning these little fragments here from injured old cells, they can create a little bit of a chill as your body is removing toxins. It's like a momentary Herxheimer reaction.

Question

“I developed constant ringing ears when I had a cold. I took Sudafed for a few days and used the NeilMed w/ saline solution and nasal spray. I have done salt inhalation and the beamer. I have been making tea with Astragalus and other herbs. It started with a cold and I did have an audiogram and have some hearing loss. How do I get the ringing to stop?”  [0:48:32]

Answer

I think I addressed that earlier and EDTA chelation has to be a part of it, with all these healthy lifestyle changes and the Systemic Enzymes, the carb diet.

Question

“Is radiation used for bone density test?”  [0:49:06]

Answer

Yes, it's an X-ray.

Question

“How often should a person use Detoxamin as a maintenance dosage to clean out any new stuff that might be starting to form?”  [0:49:10]

Answer

Usually, three suppositories equals one IV, and we recommend 10 IVs a year for maintenance. So, I would say three IVs, three suppositories in a row or within a week, and do that monthly.

Question

“I've been experiencing pain during the end of urination for a week gradually getting worse. I’m your patient.”  [0:49:35]

Answer

You need to get a urine sample done. If you're a patient here, just walk in and we'll get a urine sample and we'll dip it right away and check it, or you can go to urgent care.

Question

“Hi Dr. Rita, Thank you for taking my questions. My husband is 64 years old and he discovered he has swollen prostrate. He had been taking testosterone shots and other supplements that would increase his testosterone. The urologist said to lay off all that for now because taking too much testosterone will cause the prostate to enlarge.”  [0:49:54]

Answer

Well, it's not the prostate. It's not understanding so much the physiology. Remember, when God made Adam, then he took the rib of Adam and he made the woman, and if you look at the molecule of testosterone and you take off one hydroxyl group, then you have estradiol. It's identical except for one hydroxyl group. And so, testosterone itself can have hydrolysis snip-off from the testosterone, especially in the free testosterone, and it will convert to estradiol. The estradiol is what makes the prostate swell. And drinking alcohol, eating a high-carb diet, which is like taking grains and fermenting and making your own alcohol in your stomach and intestines, this promotes estradiol that promotes prostate swelling. So, you can Google Benign prostatic hypertrophy and estrogen or estradiol, and you’ll see all of it. So, help your urologist to learn that.

Question

“Hi Dr. Rita, I am on a limited budget, so I want to know what I can do naturally to increase my estrogen. I am 64 years old and taking progesterone and 5 mg of DHEA. Is there anything I can do to increase my estrogen? Supposedly, my bloodwork said that I have absolutely no more hormones left in my body. I don’t know how accurate that bloodwork is.”  [0:51:33]

Answer

Well, it's accurate. No, there is no gimmick for it, and I'm not going to say drink alcohol, but you just have to get with a good functional medicine integrative doctor who will prescribe it to you, and it's really affordable. So, please find someone that will give it to you.

Question

“Dr. Rita, thank you for everything. On your waiting list. Can't wait to get called. A recent CT scan on a 65-year-old old male revealed moderate atherosclerotic calcification of the aorta and coronary arteries. How would you or your staff treat a condition like this? Can the blockage be reversed? Your thoughts on using medication to treat the condition? Thank You.”  [0:52:18]

Answer

I think Dr. Majid has an opening. She has some tomorrow, I know for sure. So, why don't you all call and see if you can see Dr. Amber Majid tomorrow? I saw that when I was looking at my schedule tomorrow and getting ready for it.

EDTA chelation therapy. It improves microcirculation, and collaterals, using a high-quality vitamin D with K2. The one we use is called K-FORCE. It has the highest concentration of the highest quality K2 series, that is a 5,000-mg vitamin D and the K2 is 180 mcg. I would take one twice a day. I would go on Systemic Enzymes. I would eat the keto or the carnivore diet. I would never eat past 5 o'clock. I would eat in the 6-hour window. So, that would be 11:00 to 5:00 or 8:00 to 2:00, however you can do it. And I would drink half my weight in ounces of water every day. I would do EDTA chelation therapy. I would take Systemic Enzymes, and I would get a follow-up stress treadmill, nuclear perfusion test, and see a good cardiologist. I would see Kelly Tucker, that's the one I use. That's how we would treat it.

Question

“Hello, I saw my general doctor for a wellness check last week and he would like to change my thyroid medication to a synthetic. He says our bodies work better and distribute the synthetic better than the pig Armour Thyroid. What do you think?”  [0:54:16]

Answer

I think foolishness of that statement. And there was a court case in the late 1990s over this whole thing about Armour Thyroid, glandular thyroid, and they were trying to kick it off the market because it wasn't patentable, and they didn't want to lose their market share on it, so they had Synthroid, levothyroxine, now they have Tirosint. It's all T4. And then in the argument, to try and get rid of the glandular thyroid sources, they said it was too variable, the dosing of the T3, and T4, and it was too wildly unpredictable per tablet, therefore a risk to the patients. Well, when they actually did the studies, they found that the Synthroid had the more variable T4. So, it's quite amusing the lies told just to make a buck.

And so, T4 is a natural tetra iodine and triiodothyronine. These are natural. So, to say Synthroid is synthetic is technically wrong. It's T4 but you have to convert it. It's an inactive thyroid. And I like the glandular that has T3 in it so that you have already some active hormone and you can convert the T4 if you're able. I have patients that have trouble converting it. So, that's what I think of that statement.

Question

“How often would you suggest a thermography?”  [0:56:13]

Answer

I'm going to have to say I've grown out of disfavor with thermography only because every time I get a report back on it, it says they see some heat changes, these are probably benign, but they won't take responsibility, and they'll say, “So go see your medical doctor and see if further imaging is needed.” So, if you're going to spend money just to have it say, “Well, get further repeat imaging,” I can't recommend it anymore.

Question

“For someone with a strong family history of colon cancer, I have to get colonoscopies every five years now that I am over 40. Are there any alternatives to this? I did have a couple of small polyps on my first one.”  [0:56:48]

Answer

Talk with your gastroenterologist about this, I don't know your personal case, but there is the Cologuard, and they're using polyps-produced waste cellular debris, and they can pick up that on polymerized chain reaction testing for DNA fragments. And so, it's a poop test called Cologuard. That's what I would do.

Question

“Hi Dr. E, I recently started bioidenticals and feel great, looking to educate myself and hubby now for him. I appreciate any advice and resources. Thank you!”  [0:57:29]

Answer

Well, I'm all for hormones, and men are blessed with being able to have functional Leydig cells that produce testosterone if they take care of themselves all their lives, women don't. And so, we go through this crash and then accelerated aging. So, I'm all in favor of natural bioidentical hormones, but only in the hands of someone who is using them wisely and will check them twice a year, only in patients who are willing to adopt healthy lifestyles, and will take Systemic Enzymes.

Question

“My husband is 68 and healthy- on no meds - type B blood type. He wakes up most nights after 3 or 4 hours of sleep and has a hard time going back to sleep. He’s tried melatonin - hasn’t helped. He takes Digestive Enzymes and D3 w/ K2. Any suggestions, please? He also wants to test his D3 and PSA through a test in the mail to avoid a $250 office visit. Is that okay?” [0:58:19]

Answer

I hope it's a good lab. So, what I would say is how late is he eating? If he's eating past 5 o'clock or 6 o'clock, that's going to disrupt your sleep. Period. End of story. No arguing the case. Zero. I won't argue it. You have to do two weeks of stopping eating. The last swallow is at 5:59. So, you’ve got to be done by then.

Number two, no alcohol. And you'll see if you don't eat late and stop alcohol, suddenly you're sleeping is better. Now, if you add in drinking adequate water and exercising, then you will suddenly see a beautiful sleep come back into your life. That's going to be the answer in 99 percent of cases. Lifestyles matter.

Question

“I just started using a FreeStyle Libre 3 glucose monitor for 14 days. My alarm went off three times during the night for low glucose from 49 to 60. I do intermittent fasting (stop at 7 PM and do not eat again until 12 PM). Does this mean I am hypoglycemic and cannot do fasting? How do I prevent this from happening? I do low carb, meat, GF diet. Thanks.”  [0:59:43]

Answer

No, it just means doctors are dumb and the PhDs and the lab people are dumb because of normal blood sugars, when I was a young doctor in the 1970s, you would have had normal blood sugar if you were 55. So, that's the answer. It's not you, it's the dumb doctors and PhDs. My fasting blood sugar was 52 on one of the last times I did it, and 60 the next. So, it's not you.

Question

“What does Thyroglobulin LC-MS/MS test for and what does it mean if it comes back high? My doctor included it in my thyroid panel but he wasn’t sure what it meant when it’s high and out of range.”  [1:00:41]

Answer

This is for thyroglobulin thyroid antibodies, and I think this is a more hybridized test that is looking for thyroid cancer screening antibody fragments, I'm not sure, but that's what I think it means.

Question

“Hi Dr. E! Nicole has a precious newborn daughter and is learning the joy of breastfeeding. She asks for your wisdom on cluster feeding keeping the milk flowing and preserving her breasts/nipples with all the new activity. Truly God creates humankind miraculously!”  [1:001:11]

Answer

Amen and amen to that. So, wisdom on culture feeding, that's totally fine. She's got to drink an adequate amount of water. She has to drink no less than half her weight in ounces of water, hopefully, filtered, every single day. And that's just water. If she has tea or a cup of coffee or something else, hopefully, she's not drinking any juices. Stay low carb, eat rich, healthy, building things like meat, fish, turkey, chicken, eggs, beef shrimp, lamb, salmon, all that kind of stuff. And I would get the Clinician's Preference Oil and I would rub that on her nipples at night when she thinks the baby will have the longest sleep period, and that will help restore the injury that will literally help repair the damage to the nipples from all the damage there, and that is part of the essential fat that goes in here. So, if she puts Clinician's Preference Oil, a little dab on her nipples every night, and uses Argentyn Silver, she can use a little spray after each feeding to keep the bacterial count low, and that will keep her nipples from cracking and inflaming.

Question

“Please discuss (RLS) Restless Leg Syndrome natural supplements and treatment.”  [1:02:55]

Answer

Well, that circulation and the nerves are getting that damage. Like I said earlier, you have to eat a rich phospholipid diet, you can't eat late, and you need the minerals. Minerals are part of the electrochemical signaling for electron transfer and the potential to move. So, I would take TLC Multi-Mineral. It's a high Albion amino acid chelated multi-mineral, magnesium, potassium, and all these things, and that's what I would do, with adequate water, don't eat late, don't drink wine, and chelation therapy will improve the circulation, and that tends to always work. I have restless legs, and I take three TLC Multi-Minerals, I drink my water, and I do chelation once a month, and I exercise and so forth, eat low carb.

Question

“Discuss Rhobad treatment.”  [0:03:56]

Answer

I don't know what Rhobad is. I don't know what that is. You'll have to expand on that next week.

Question

“I eat a lot of 100% sweetened cacao powder. Is there a danger of excess cadmium?”  [1:04:07]

Answer

Cacao powder does have cadmium, the mineral, and there's a potential for excess there. I think it's 13 mcg/dl. Anyway, if you do chelation therapy, it's removed, but I've never in my life of 43 years seen people with high cadmium levels of concern from chocolate or cacao powder. But do chelation therapy, it's good for you.

Question

“Dr E., what IV therapy do you offer for inflammation of the central nervous system specifically for the devastating diagnosis of Adhesive Arachnoiditis? We are trying to get an appointment lined up through your office. We desperately need to get the inflammation down. Does a High dose of vitamin C drip pass the blood-brain barrier? Bless you!”  [1:04:51]

Answer

That's a fascial sheath on the lining of your nerves and down your spine, and everything I've said is what it is. I would do the EDTA chelation. I would do the vitamin C with that. I would do that at least once a week if not twice a week. I would do the carnivore diet. I would take Systemic Enzymes. I would take the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory Juice Plus. I may or may not add in curcumin, high quality, and adequate water, good night's sleep, stretching, exercise, and the carnivore diet. That's the direction I would go.

Question

“One, is nitric oxide the main nutrient in beets? An important nutrient? I ordered a powdered form of it from my insurance company through its OTC (Over-The-Counter) catalog (all products are free) a year or so ago but have not used it because I don't remember the value of this nutrient. Please explain. Two, what’s the best kind of magnesium and calcium for a 70-year-old female?”  [1:05:46]

Answer

Well, yes, but beets have a lot of sugar in their starches. You can get nitric oxide from nitrates by eating your meats, fish, chicken, turkey, or beef. I wouldn't want all those carbs, so I don't support beet powder for that reason

What's the best kind of magnesium calcium for a 70-year-old? I think I’ve mentioned that already. It’s the amino acid chelated calcium glycinate, calcium citrate, Magnesium Citrate, and Magnesium Glycinate.
